more-news

Hello everyone!

Many moons have passed since the previous blog entry on this website, but much has also happened, and many more things are yet to come! This blog will include a series of announcements, alongside some status updates of recent and old projects. Without much further ado, it’s time to begin!

The Relocation to Publish Drive

Announcement number one! A Sanctum of Swords: Embers Edition is now officially removed from Amazon and Audible, and will eventually come off Author’s Republic as well, because everything will be moving over to PublishDrive!

I’ve been re-evaluating the platforms on which I publish content, and I discovered this tool. After researching, I feel it wouldn’t be harmful to try it out.

This announcement leads to the next one: When will A Sanctum of Swords: Embers Edition be available again?

That’s a good question!

As of now, A Sanctum of Swords: Embers Edition will be available again sometime during July, alongside the republished audiobook.

Whispers of White Sapphire Release Date and Audiobook Production

Announcement three! Whispers of White Sapphire is almost through the editing process, and the book will be available in July as well, again, through PublishDrive’s distribution channels of retailers. The audiobook is slightly delayed as of now and will likely be released sometime in March or April of 2026.

An Ascendant of Kings & The Reaper of the Mortal Sands

I’ve been working diligently on the sequel to A Sanctum of Swords—in fact, I’ve been working on two sequels!

An Ascendant of Kings follows Adofo Akopian, his elder brother, Nishan, and Siham Sar Amun on their journeys through life, whether finding happiness or a sense of purpose or enduring the rigors of war as the war between the Carth Dominion and Akopian Kingdom rages around them.

Meanwhile, the Reaper of the Mortal Sands follows Shoushan Sar Amun, Gadara of Suann, and Zagir of the Withered Fang.

Since her mother, High Queen Karayan Akara’s death during the Siege of the Golden Valley, Shoushan bides her time before beginning to inherit the throne of Sukhan and ascend to the Grandmaster of the Ashen Blade Syndicate.

Yet things have changed in Sukhan since her mother’s death. The children of the Southern Wastes are fractured, forming autonomous realms in the absence of their High Queen and the tyrannical reign of her Ashen Blades.

Seeking to reunite the mythical order of assassins under the tenets of a new order, Shoushan must first learn what it means to be a Child of the Southern Wastes and an Ashen Blade.

Meanwhile, the Deities of the Void haunt Shoushan’s dreams and make their opening moves against the Sar Amun family in the Carth Dominion, seeking to sow anarchy wherever there is order.

An Ascendant of Kings’ manuscript has crossed the halfway mark toward completion, while The Reaper of the Mortal Sands is about a fourth complete. I hope to have both manuscripts completed, revised, and edited by the year’s end.

The cover art for both novels is scheduled to be created in September as well.

New Series Announcement:

Announcement number four! I’ve begun the humble beginnings of a new series, set on Thearus’ western continent,

Tanorith, in its first large debut in the coming novel, The Crystalline Ocean.

“Kendal Cirulan Qallin was not born an ordinary human or even a mortal soul. Half of his blood was sired from the fey ancestry of the Ishalnan, graceful beings of elegance, enlightenment, divine magic, and matchless martial prowess. He is a child of prophecy, whispered throughout the forgotten places of the Mist Hollow to usher in the Time of Night for humanity.

Yet Kendal is human, his heart and mind raised among his compatriots within the borders of Hallorn Kingdom. His life is peaceful in his family’s lonely manor. However, on the night of his sixteenth birthday, fate decrees that his life will change irrecoverably when enigmatic raiders begin to plague the Mist Hollow and threaten his very world.

On the night of the Mist Hollow Purge, Kendal stumbles across the path of a fey woman, a lone warrior maiden of the Ranai’Ishal—fighting alone on a journey of sworn vengeance, who offers to help him find his own and place him on the path to his destiny as the Child of Sun and Moon.

Kendal is forced to flee the embers of his past life, enduring the perils of journeying the winter wilds with his mysterious companion to reach the city of Halliath, to find sanctuary amid a sea of night, and find his place within the Crystalline Ocean.”

Whew! That was a lot of announcements!

Until next time!
