As we near the half-way point of May, there a few status updates to share about on-going projects! Without any further ado, let’s get to it!
Whispers of White Sapphire
The copy-edit for Whispers of White Sapphire is completed, and the changes have gone live on Inkspired! The proofread is scheduled to begin in a week and a few days from now. Once that is completed in the next month, the changes will go live again, and the official launch of Whispers of White Sapphire won’t be far behind!
An Ascendant of Kings
An Ascendant of Kings is quickly blazing toward a culmination and ending, having gone from around 45k word count to 91k words. Don’t worry, we still have quite a bit to go about ending this narrative. I estimate the final word count will be between 120-140k words somewhere, which will be the most significant work I’ve written by far.
Since this is the next novel to be published, I have focused on An Ascendant of Kings for the last month. I aim to complete it either by the end of May or the end of June, and then I will move on to more revisions.
The Reaper of the Mortal Sands
The third installment of The Embers of the Past Series, The Reaper of the Mortal Sands, has received several new chapters and should receive an additional 1-2 chapters by the time I complete An Ascendant of Kings. Don’t worry, though, if anyone wants to see how the events of this novel unfold, I will be focusing on The Reaper of the Mortal Sands after its prior entry is finished, just as I’ve done for Whispers of White Sapphire and An Ascendant of Kings.
The Crystalline Ocean
I’ve had to slow down on The Crystalline Ocean, doing minimal updates for a while. However, as soon as The Reaper of the Mortal Sands is completed and revised, I will prioritize finishing The Crystalline Ocean toward publication. Then, we’ll be on to some new projects!!
Cover Art Updates
Cover Art Updates can still be expected during the month of September – October time! A new announcement, however, is that The Crystalline Ocean will be receiving its own updated cover art in addition to An Ascendant of Kings and The Reaper of the Mortal Sands around the same time frame!
Audiobook Production Updates!
Whispers of White Sapphire’s audiobook production is slated for February 2026.
An Ascendant of Kings’ audiobook production is now slated for June 2026.
The Reaper of the Mortal Sands audiobook production is now slated for October 2026.
